About our Program

-AVMC is a large Level 2 Trauma, STEMI Receiving, Comprehensive Stroke, and Pediatric Receiving Center with 130,000 ED visits annually that serves a diverse 2,200 mile catchment area with rapidly growing population of over 500,000 people 

-You will have the opportunity to learn from our emergency physicians, who are all UCLA Clinical Faculty, and our world class group of NPs and PAs, who are recognized regionally for being the strongest APPs.

-The fellowship runs for 12 months starting January 1st with 2 fellows being selected each cycle. 

-The clinical schedule includes 3 12hr shifts per week with flexible scheduling patterns and dedicated ultrasound shifts to hone diagnostic and procedural skills.

-Didactics include 3 hour lectures every 2 weeks via Zoom covering the full breadth of emergency medicine.
